Description: This is a German Mauser K98 serial number 51924h marked with the 'byf 43' and eagle and swastika. 6,5 mm Gevr m/1938. Many of the rifles were later rechambered in 7.9257mm. I have an old FN Mauser with no serial number; prior to the GCA of 1968 many imported guns did not have to have serial numbers.
